As Royal Yachting Association Training Center we run accredited courses that are internationally recognised.<\/p>\n
Below is a summary of each level of the course.<\/p>\n
LEVEL 1<\/strong><\/p>\n Introducing you sailing with all you need to know to get afloat under supervision.<\/p>\n Assumed knowledge – None.<\/p>\n Teaches – How to sail in all directions, including an awareness of launching and recovering.<\/p>\n Ability after course – Able to sail in light winds under supervision.<\/p>\n LEVEL 2<\/strong><\/p>\n Setting out the foundations of sailing for you.<\/p>\n Sailing skills to the standard of Level 1.<\/p>\n Teaches – Rigging, launching and sailing in all directions. Capsize recovery and essential safety knowledge.<\/p>\n Ability after course – Able to sail and make decisions in good conditions.<\/p>\n LEVEL 3<\/strong><\/p>\n Consolidating skills and trying new ones.<\/p>\n Sailing skills to the standard of Level 2.<\/p>\n Teaches – Coaching of level 1 and 2 skills and taster sessions from the advanced modules.<\/p>\n Ability after course – More confident in sailing skills and techniques ready to progress onto the advanced modules.<\/p>\n All adult courses are of 2 days duration or can be spread over 5 evenings during the summer months and have a minimum age of 16.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" As Royal Yachting Association Training Center we run accredited courses that are internationally recognised.
